The structural design form of Zhengzhou Wantan Yellow River Highway and Railway Bridge is novel. The construction technology of combining steel truss beam with ballastless track and the design of ballastless track are adopted for the first time, so that the train can still keep stable and smooth when running at high speed.The total length of the bridge is 4377m, the width of the highway is 32.5m, and the width of the railway is 26.8m, which is twice as wide as the Zhengxin Yellow River Bridge on the Beijing Guangzhou high-speed railway. It is a milestone in the history of China's railway construction.[3]
At 9:50 on June 20, 2022, Zhengzhou Wantan Yellow River Highway and Railway Bridge of Jinan Zhengzhou High speed Railway was opened to traffic.[2]

In February 2022, China Railway Group named Zhengzhou Wantan Yellow River Highway and Railway Bridge, the new Yellow River crossing bridge in Zhengzhou Puyang section of Zhengzhou Jinan Railway.[1]
At 9:50 on June 20, 2022, the Zhengzhou Wantan Yellow River Highway and Railway Bridge of Jinan Zhengzhou High speed Railway, which was invested by Henan Intercity Railway Co., Ltd., designed by China Railway Engineering Design Consulting Group Co., Ltd. and contracted by China Railway Bridge Bureau, was opened to traffic.[2]
