Tongjiang Avenue in Wuxi starts from the north abutment of Gaodun Bridge in the south, after level crossing with Xingyuan Road, and then goes north through the existing Huning Railway, the Huning Intercity Railway under construction, and Xingyuan Second Road. The main line continues to go north down Xihu Road, with auxiliary roads on both sides at level crossing with Xihu Road on the ground. The line ends at the south abutment of Qinjian Bridge. Underpass Shanghai Nanjing Railway The current four lane section is maintained, and the railway box is not widened. [1] The section from Shanghai Nanjing Railway to Qinjian Bridge is combined with the reconstruction of the intercity railway and the North Square. The main four lanes of Tongjiang Avenue cross Xihu Road, and auxiliary roads are set on both sides to form a signal level crossing with Xihu Road on the ground. A special outbound viaduct for long-distance passenger station is arranged between Xihu Road and Qinjian Bridge to separate long-distance buses from Xihu intersection and connect them to Tongjiang Avenue through the outbound viaduct on the second floor. The project includes the demolition and reconstruction of Tongjiang Interchange Pump Station. The project was commenced in April 2009 and completed in January 2010. [1]
