Origin of place names

The place name in Liaozhong was named after "West of Liaojun, East of Liaoshui, Wan in the center" when the county was established in the 32nd year of Guangxu's reign (1906). In other words, the county was formerly called Ashniulu Town. This town is located in the center of the whole Liao Dynasty, so it is called Liaozhong. Or it got its name because it straddles both banks of the Liaohe River and is located in the middle reaches of the Liaohe River. [23]

Xie Rongce He was born on November 13, 1931.
