Securities collateralized bonds are bonds issued with other bonds, stocks or securities as collateral. When such bonds are issued, various securities used as collateral should be transferred to a trust (usually a bank). The securities used as collateral may be the stocks, bonds and other securities issued by the issuer's subsidiaries or branches, or the stocks, bonds, etc. purchased by the issuer as securities investment. When the issuer fails to pay the interest and principal on time, it may sell these securities to pay its debts. [1]
