Scientific research achievements

  • Overview of scientific research
Mo Zeyao's main research directions are: parallelism and performance optimization of large-scale scientific and engineering applications based on message passing (MPI, PVM), shared storage (OpenMP) and data parallelism (HPF) parallel programming platforms; Design and analysis of parallel algorithms (including iterative solutions and preconditioning techniques for large-scale sparse linear algebraic equations, multigrid and domain decomposition algorithms for PDE problems, FFT and discrete convolution transforms, molecular dynamics simulation methods, and classification problems); Basic research on parallel computing (including parallel programming mode, dynamic load balancing method, parallel implementation and optimization technology, performance evaluation and scalability analysis, etc.); Development of object-oriented high-performance portable numerical value library software and application development toolbox; UNIX Advanced Network System Management and LINUX Microcomputer Cluster Technology [6]
Mo Zeyao focused on the requirements of numerical simulation and big data analysis for large-scale parallel computing, focusing on parallel programming model, parallel algorithm design and analysis, performance optimization theory and methods, software architecture and software development methods. The unique parallel computing research system and component-based application software development method of "computing model parallel algorithm performance optimization programming model software framework" have been formed, and the automatic parallel highly scalable programming framework has been established. The research results have had an impact in the field of national defense and civil military integration [5]
