In December of the sixth year of Hongwu's reign in the Ming Dynasty (1373), Lushan County was changed into Lushan County, which was subordinate to Yazhou. During the peasant uprising in the late Ming Dynasty, Zhang Xianzhong entered Sichuan in the 17th year of Chongzhen (1644) and established the "Daxi" regime (1644-1646), which was under the jurisdiction of Lushan County.
In the Qing Dynasty, after the defeat of Zhang Xianzhong's uprising, Lushan had not only the remnants of the Rebel Army and the Nanming Army, but also the troops of the Qing Dynasty and Wu Sangui who went south to fight repeatedly; There are also neighboring Chieftains Gao and Yang who took the opportunity to attack, but they still belong to the territory of the Southern Ming Dynasty.
In the 15th year of Shunzhi's reign (1658), the Qing government appointed Lushan County Magistrate, who initially belonged to Yazhou. In the 7th year of Yongzheng's reign (1729), Yazhou was promoted to government and Lushan County was subordinate to it.
From 1911 to 1949, it was still called Lushan County, belonging to Yazhou Prefecture. In 1913, the state capital was abandoned and changed to Shangchuannan Road. In the next year, it was changed to Jianchang Road, and Lushan Mountain was still under the jurisdiction of Jianchang Road. In 1935, the Fourth Front Army of the Red Army went south to Lushan to establish the Sichuan Kangbian Revolutionary Base, still located in Lushan County and governed Luyang Town, which was the seat of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and the provincial Soviet government. At the same time, Lushan, Tianquan and Qiongxia counties have set aside some areas, and the township has set up Taiping County, which is now Taiping Yard. After the Red Army moved northward from Lushan, Sichuan Province was divided into 18 administrative supervision districts, Ya'an belonged to the 17th administrative supervision district, and Lushan belonged to it. In 1939, Xikang was established as a province, governing three genera of Ning, Ya and Kang, and Lushan County was subordinate to Ya.
On December 9, 1949, Liu Wenhui, President of Xikang Province, announced the uprising. On December 13, Lushan responded to the uprising.
On February 1, 1950, the Chinese People's Liberation Army stationed in Ya'an, and on February 7, it stationed in Lushan. On February 8, Lushan was liberated. After liberation, the People's Government of Xikang Province was established, Ya'an District was set up, and Lushan County was subordinate to it.
In October 1955, Xikang Province was revoked and incorporated into Sichuan Province. Lushan County was under the jurisdiction of Sichuan Province and still belongs to Ya'an Special District.
