histamine

One of self active substances
synonym Histamine (an active amine compound) generally referring to histamine
Histamine, an organic nitrogen compound, is produced by histidine under the action of decarboxylase. Many tissues, especially mast cells of skin, lung and intestinal mucosa, contain a large amount of histamine. Histamine can be released when tissue is damaged or inflammation and allergic reaction occur. Histamine has a strong vasodilator effect, and can increase the permeability of capillary and venule walls. Plasma leaks into tissues, leading to local tissue edema. [1]

indication

Announce
edit
1. It is mainly used for the examination of gastric secretion function to identify whether patients with gastric cancer and pernicious anemia have true gastric acid deficiency. At present, pentapeptide acid stimulating hormone is commonly used instead of this product in clinical practice.
2. Auxiliary diagnosis of leprosy.
3. It is also used for desensitization in clinic, that is, repeated incremental injection of small doses of histamine can improve the tolerance of patients to histamine. This method has certain therapeutic effect in treating patients with unknown causes of allergy after specific examination.
