In isodominant inheritance, both alleles of a heterozygote are expressed. Generally, two alleles at the same genetic site will produce certain substances, isodominance, or the expression of two alleles.

Only when the phenotype or allelic product is qualitatively different will it be noticed, such as blood group antigens (such as AB, MN), leukocyte antigens (such as DR4, DR3) and electrophoresis speed are different serum albumin (e.g. albumin, Haptoglobin ).
