A general term for a believer in Islam, meaning submissive [1] 。
In China, there are 10 ethnic minorities, including Hui, Uygur, Kazak, Uzbek, Kirgiz, Tajik, Tatar, Dongxiang, Salar, Baoan, and so on. Quite a few people believe in Islam. In China, people who believe in Islam are collectively referred to as "Chinese Muslims".
