The Science Association was organized by Peng Jiwen, Qi Yunjun, Ping Gang, Zhang Ming, Hu Zhao'an, Fu Wenlong in Guizhou at the end of 1904 (early 1905).
Its call has two aspects: one is to study and the other is to make a revolution.[1]

By studying science, we will gather comrades to make revolution.Through studying the remains of Wang Fuzhi and Huang Zongxi, and reviewing the tragic history of ceding land and losing power since the 1894-1895, the members stimulated patriotic enthusiasm, and promoted Le Jiazao as the president.After Zhang Binglin's "Arch Book" was spread to Guiyang, he cut his hair and was persecuted to leave Guizhou. Then Qi Yunjun and Hu Zhao'an successively took charge of the eastward crossing of Ji. Zhang Ming did not have his own camp, and the association collapsed.[1]
