In 2020, after the Cosmos held their first concert at the Taipei Little Giant Egg Stadium, they planned to release a high standard music album.However, it was hindered by the COVID-19 epidemic.The members who were forced to stop, through this period of time, repeatedly inspected and adjusted their own state, enjoyed the details of life in the real precipitation, and finally created the album.The album was originally a "selfish" album, in which the works were just to please the creators themselves. Until the completion of the album, they realized that these music works condensed the love of cosmic people for ten years, and re recorded their "ideal state", so they decided to release it as an official album[2]。
Cosmos hopes that through this album, everyone can attach importance to their own moment and grasp their own moment.The song "Play" is in the charge of post production of mixing by the mixer Hiroshi Kitagi. This song specially records the sound effect of the tape recorder.The song "Come by Yourself" was created by the cooperation of cosmonauts and rap groups.The song "Baby I don't want to leave" at the end of the album, the cosmic people want to show the feeling of a live performance venue, so they specially recorded the sound of playing the piano in real life, and they hope that the listeners can get the experience of coming to the scene in person[2]。The main song of the album with the same name, "Ideal State", is set as a chill pop style song, and the solo interlude of bassist Fang Q and guitarist Ah Kui is added[1]。
Compared with the previous works of CosmosThe simplicity and brightness of the straight line, the cosmic man in the album has changed significantly.This album includes 12 songs in total, most of which were created after the epidemic, as if to fight against anxiety and tension. Cosmos made a Chill album.Most of the songs in the whole album are midrange songs, and relaxation and romance become the keynote of the album.
One of the main songs of the album, "Leave Tomorrow to Me", sings about a "fantasy trip", in which the office workers who cannot go out get on the plane and embark on the holiday in fantasy.From music arrangement, singing method to lyrics, the song exudes a strong holiday atmosphere. At the beginning, it makes the audience feel that "the end of the escalator is not a boarding gate". The airplane sound effect in the middle of the song makes the fantasy trip more real.The main song of the same name of the album, Ideal State, is a chill pop style song. The rhythm of the middle plate and the distortion of the voice create a lazy feeling;The solo interlude between bassist Fang Q and guitarist Ah Kui appropriately lit up the whole song, and also gave the song the exclusive label of cosmic man.The only Hokkien song in the album, "Haoye", returns to its original nature with simple guitar, drum beat and harmony, adding a touch of fresh and simple color to the urban style album[1]。
