Wang Mang Ridge is said to have been here when Wang Mang chased Liu Xiu at the end of the Western Han Dynasty, hence the name. Located in Gujiao Township, Lingchuan County, Shanxi Province, it is the border mountain between the county and Huixian County, Henan Province. The mountain trend is from east to southwest. To the east is the provincial boundary, to the west is Lingdong River, to the south is Mawuzhai Mountain, and to the north is Luolongchang. The perimeter is about 15km. The main peak is 1665 meters. It is said that Wang Mang of the Western Han Dynasty built a city and built a stronghold in this mountain before he drove Liu Xiu. There is a flat land on the top of the mountain, which is said to be the racetrack of Mang soldiers. There is a Prince Kiln in the south of the mountain. There are stone beds and stone tables in it. It is said that Wang Mang's wife gave birth to the Prince here. There is a Tun kiln in the south of Shandong Province, which is large and deep. There are stone mills in the kiln. It is said that it was a warehouse used by Wang Mang. On the east cliff of the mountain, two peaks stand upright like a gate, formerly known as Xifeng Mountain, commonly known as Tianzhu Pass. The situation is dangerous. The exit spiral stone steps go straight down to Henan, which is the throat from Lingchuan County to Huixian County. [1]
