Xuanwu Mountain
In the first year of Jianyan in the Southern Song Dynasty (1127), the villagers in Jieshi Town, Lufeng City built a small temple on the hill (formerly Guishan Mountain) in the northern suburb of Jieshi, dedicated to the statue of "Arctic Xuanwu, God of the Yuan Dynasty", and later moved the small temple to the current site (now the Xuanwu Mountain Tourist Area in Shanwei). In the 27th year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1394), when the general of the Jieshi Guards built the Jieshi Acropolis, the small temple was transformed into a "Xuanwu Temple".
