The book is divided into four categories: customs, products, fear of travel, and monsters. It was completed in the 15th year of Jiajing (1536), which can make up for the lack of history and provide a reference for the study of Southeast Asia's history and geography in the 16th century and China's transportation relations in Southeast Asia.
