Clay tablets are a kind of writing material used in the ancient Lianghe River Basin (30-6th century BC). It is made of smooth, wet and soft mud embedded on the board, and then use a reed pole, wood stick or bone stick cut into a triangular point as a "pen" to write on it or use a reed pole to engrave various shapes on it. [1]
The imprint caused by the "pen" when writing is deep and wide, while the imprint left when drawing out is thin and narrow. This writing material makes the characters in the two river basins look like wooden wedges, gradually forming the ancestral cuneiform characters of Latin letters (cuneiform characters Phoenician letters Greek letters Latin letters).
