Period of Shenyang Mechanical and Electrical University
The predecessor of Shenyang University of Technology is the Northeast Machinery Administration Technical School, which was founded in 1949.
In September 1949, it was renamed as the Machinery Vocational School of the Machinery Industry Administration.
In August 1950, it was changed into a secondary vocational school, and its name was Advanced Vocational School of Machinery Industry Administration, and it began to recruit students nationwide.
In October 1952, the school moved north to Changchun City and was renamed as Machine Industry School.
In 1954, it was renamed Changchun Machine Manufacturing School.
