The State Key Laboratory of Structural Dynamics of Bridge Engineering is the fourth national key laboratory in Chongqing after mechanical transmission, combined trauma and burn, transmission and distribution equipment and system safety and new technologies[1]。

With the support of Chongqing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, the bridge structure dynamics experiment built by Chongqing Transportation Research and Design Institute has invested nearly 60 million yuan accumulatively. It is equipped with the world's only "seismic simulation test array system", "multi-channel structure test system", "engineering cable structure tension bending test system" and other large-scale test systems, which are internationally leading or advanced,It has been highly praised by domestic and foreign peer experts. In Chongqing alone, it has undertaken the design and construction of six bridges, including the Dafosi Yangtze River Bridge, the Yu'ao Jialing River Bridge, and the Caiyuanba Yangtze River Bridge. It has developed into an important scientific test base in bridge structural dynamics in China.
