Born on January 5, 1929, Li Wenda was born in Macao, China. [15]
In 1945, Li Wenda began to help take care of the family business and delivered goods to the major restaurants in the city on his bicycle every day. At that time, Lee Kum Kee Oyster Sauce had become famous in Guangdong's catering industry, mainly because of its high quality and expensive price, specializing in high-end restaurants. Li Kum Kee, who insisted on "high quality and high price", at that time, the main market was the United States, followed by Hong Kong and Macao, while the mainland of China had no stable business environment because of the long war and poverty.
In 1949, Li Wenda returned to Macao. After several years of tempering, his business talent has been revealed, and he has opened six factories in Macao, specializing in foreign trade. Cosmetics, rubber shoes, umbrellas, toys, leather wallets... these are all products of Li Wenda's factory, which are exported to Europe, America and Africa.
In 1954, Li Wenda obeyed his father's order, gave up six thriving factories in Macao, and officially joined Lee Kum Kee in Hong Kong. Through the efforts of two generations, it is under the pioneering operation of the third generation Li Wenda that Li Jinji has truly realized the take-off of a global enterprise. [6]
Since 1955, Li Wenda has gradually set foot in the business of Lee Kum Kee at a deeper level.

Li Wenda took the opportunity to launch "Panda Brand" oyster sauce, which made Americans who had no habit of eating oyster sauce and had never seen giant pandas know Li Jinji and oyster sauce. This helped Li Jinji expand the overseas market, and the company walked out of the trough. Later, Li Wenda expanded the product range from oyster sauce and shrimp paste to the soy sauce manufacturing field, and Li Jinji became the "kingdom of soy sauce". [17]
