Li Qiankuan(January 4, 1941 August 12, 2021), born in Dalian, Liaoning Province, male director from mainland China, graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Beijing Film Academy.

At 8:29 a.m. on August 12, 2021, Li Qiankuan died at the age of 80 in Cixi, Ningbo, Zhejiang[23]。On December 30, he was awarded the 34th Golden Rooster Award for Chinese Film by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles for his lifelong achievement as a film artist.[25]

In 2001, he co directed the war movie Korean War with Xiao Guiyun.On December 28, 2005, at the conference to commemorate the centennial of the birth of Chinese film, he won the award of "National Film Artist with Outstanding Contributions".In 2006, he co directed costume dramas with Xiao Guiyun《Legendary Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang》, the play was created byChen Baoguo、Xu Fan、Tang GuoqiangAnd other co stars[8]。
