Broader moon valleys mostly appear in the flat areas on the moon land; The largest Rita Moon Valley is located in the northeast of the South China Sea, Jason Crater On the land of the moon in the east, the total length is 500 kilometers; The widest Mohirami Moon Valley is in the south of the East China Sea Basin, Bader Crater On the land near the moon, about 40-55 kilometers. The narrower and smaller Moon Valley (sometimes called "Moon Stream") is everywhere.
The most famous moon valley is the Alpine Great Moon Valley Plato Crater The southeast has been "flowing" into the flat Rainy Sea and Cold Sea, which cut off the Alth Mountains on the moon, which is very spectacular. Photos taken from space estimate that it is 130 kilometers long and 10-12 kilometers wide.
The moon valley often has a certain trend, and its cause is a very meaningful topic worth studying. According to the analysis of the data obtained by the Apollo 15 spacecraft, the moon valley may be formed by magma flowing down the mountain.

Alpine Moon Valley

Figure 1 Alpine Moon Valley [1]
The Alpine Moon Valley (Vallis Alpes) is located in the Alps region on the northern edge of the Yuhai Basin on the front of the moon, with the central geographic coordinates of 48.5 ° N and 3.2 ° E.
Morphological features: It looks like a straight belt, stretching from the south of Plato's ring to the Rainy Sea and Cold Sea, and cutting across the Alps.
Length and width: 166km
Map size/direction: north upward, 175km × 175km
Figure 1 is used Chang'e-1 It was made from the data of satellite CCD camera, and was shot in November and December 2007.
The Alpine Moon Valley can be observed with a telescope on the ground. On September 27, 1727, Italian astronomer and philosopher Francesco Bianchini (1662-1729) discovered it in Rome with a 75 foot telescope. Because it is located in the Alps of the moon, it is named Alpine Moon Valley. [1]

Vallis Baade

Vallis Baade is located on the front of the moon, and its central geographic coordinates are 45.9 ° S and 76.2 ° W.
Morphological features: shaped like a slender submarine sandwich.
Length and width: 203km long.
Bard Moon Valley can be observed with a telescope on the ground. Because it is located on the east side of the Bader impact crater, it is named Bader Moon Valley. Bard (1893~1960), German astronomer. [2]

Vallis Bouvard

Vallis Bouvard is located on the front of the moon, with the central geographic coordinates of 38.3 ° S and 83.1 ° W.
Morphological features: It looks like a sliding snake.
Length and width: 284km long.
Limited by the surrounding towering mountains, the Boward Moon Valley extends eastward, with the highest point of 250 meters. There is a small central mountain range in the Moon Valley. The name comes from French astronomer Beauvade (1767-1843). [2]

Vallis Inghirami

Figure 2 Bader Moon Valley, Boward Moon Valley and Yinghilami Moon Valley [2]
Vallis Inghirami is located on the front of the moon, with the central geographic coordinates of 43.8 ° S and 72.2 ° W.
Morphological characteristics: oval folded strata.
Length and width: 148km long.
Because it is located in the southeast of the Yinghirami impact crater, it is named Yinghirami Moon Valley. Inhirami (1779~1851) was an Italian astronomer.
Figure 2 is made from the data of the CCD camera of Chang'e-1 satellite, and was taken in November and December 2007. The above three moon valleys are included in the figure.
View frame size/direction: up is north. 580km×580km。 [2]

Bor Moon Valley

Vallis Bohr is located on the front of the moon, and its central geographic coordinates are 10.3 ° N and 88.9 ° W.
Morphological characteristics: It looks like a crawling caterpillar.
Figure 3 Bor Moon Valley [3]
Length and width: 80km long.
Map size/direction: 160km × 225km.
Figure 3 is made from the data of the CCD camera of Chang'e-1 satellite, and was taken in December 2007.
According to the estimation of the photos, the actual length of the Bor Moon Valley is about 98km. If the darker area in the northeast is also taken as a part of the Bor Moon Valley, the entire length of the Bor Moon Valley will exceed 150km. The width of the main moon valley gradually widens from north to south, ranging from 10 to 12 km. It can be seen from the shadows that the depth of the northern moon valley is about 1250m, while the depth of the southern moon valley is more than 2700m. Since these shadows do not extend to the bottom of the valley, the true depth of the moon valley will be greater than these estimates. Because it is located on the west side of the Bor crater, it is named Bor Moon Valley. Bohr (1885-1962), a Danish physicist. [3]

Vallis Christel

Vallis Christel is located on the front of the moon, and its central geographic coordinates are 24.5 ° N and 11 ° E.
Morphological features: Dragon like tail.
Length and width: 2km long
The irregular impact crater Alatas in the west of Chenghai The west side of CA (Aratus CA) (shaped like pterosaur) is a smaller moon valley, named after German women. [4]

Vallis Krishna

Vallis Krishna is located on the front of the moon, and its central geographic coordinates are 24.5 ° N and 11.3 ° E.
Form feature: shaped like a dragon's foot.
Length and width: 3km long.
The irregular impact crater Alatas in the west of Chenghai The southeast side of CA (Aratus CA) (shaped like pterosaur) is a smaller moon valley, named after the Indian male.
The attached figure is used Chang'e-1 satellite It was made from the data of CCD camera, and was shot in November and December 2007. The picture contains two moon valleys.
Map size/direction: 50km × 54km [4]

edit
The name of the wine produced by Chia Tai Group. It is named Moon Valley, inspired by Li Bai's poem "Wine Glow Cup", which symbolizes the cultural origin between wine and the moon. In addition, in reality, Moon Valley is mostly wine red, which is another source of inspiration named Moon Valley. The market promotion of this wine is relatively low-key, and the supply is relatively small, so the market popularity is low, but the quality of the wine is excellent. If you drink it in moderation, your troubles will curl away like smoke. It seems that you are walking with your lover under the moon. It feels like you are laughing with your friends about the past and the present.
At present, Yuegu wine is the only domestic wine brand with artistic conception.
