The widow could not bear the pain, so she made up a confession to confess her guilt. When he was about to be executed for his crime, Cao Shu took over his post. When the deadline came, everyone obeyed the time and went back to prison. There was no one who violated the order. The whole county was impressed, and was said to be "the sage". Later generations called it "Cao Shu's prisoners of covenant". [2] He joined the imperial court as a minister and transferred to the county magistrate of Luoyang. He showed his benevolence and decided to sue, and the people missed him. When it rained heavily and snowed heavily, the fence at the gate of the palace was lost at night. The public procurators did not find its whereabouts. Cao ordered the guards to be put in prison, but all the officials said it was wrong. Cao Shu said, "There is a strict ban near the palace gate, and no one will dare to steal. It must be the palace gate guards who burned it to keep out the cold." After questioning the guards, they really pleaded guilty. Resign from office due to illness. Later, he was the county magistrate of Luoyang. [3]

What's your opinion?" Cao Shu said, "It is not only the law of human affairs, but also the common sense of heaven that people and officials have not done as much as the king since ancient times to wipe out traitors who have brought disaster to the country and help restore the throne. However, there is no way to prosper and not die, and there is no way for things to prosper and not decline. I personally accept your inquiry. How dare I not offer my true feelings. I hope that when the king is in a high position, considering the danger and chaos, when he is rich, he will unexpectedly become empty, carefully select all officials, be fair and eliminate selfish desires, recommend talents and talents to offer good people, and strive to find good talents. Then he will rectify his chariots and horses, bid farewell to his return to the fiefdom, and we can celebrate together. Cao Shu and others should also be very grateful. " Sima Xuan didn't adopt it.
