Crankcase
Crankcase: The upper crankcase is cast with the cylinder block, and the lower crankcase is used to store lubricating oil and seal the upper crankcase, so it is also called the oil pan diagram. The oil pan bears little force and is generally made of sheet steel. Its shape depends on the overall layout of the engine and the capacity of the oil. The oil pan is equipped with an oil stabilizing baffle plate to prevent excessive oil level fluctuation when the car shakes. The bottom of the oil pan is also equipped with an oil drain plug, which is usually equipped with a permanent magnet to absorb the metal chips in the lubricating oil and reduce the wear of the engine. A gasket is installed between the joint surfaces of the upper and lower crankcase to prevent lubricating oil leakage.

Wrong fire extinguishing tools
If the crankcase is on fire, do not use fire blankets, dry ice (carbon dioxide) extinguishers, water and other fire-fighting tools to extinguish the fire. The fire blanket cannot extinguish the fire, but will burn through the blanket. Dry ice( carbon dioxide )Fire extinguishers are useless to fire. Instead, water will make the fire bigger.
Correct fire extinguishing tools
Crankcase on fire Dry powder fire extinguisher Only then. (The above situation can only occur if the crankcase is made of magnesium.)
