On January 13, 2005, the former Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China (now the Ministry of Transport) issued the National Highway Network Planning（“7918 Project”）, and stipulatesNational HighwayThe numbering rules of the trunk line, regional loop line and branch line are as follows. The branch line sequence has 37 connecting lines, including Jincheng Xinxiang Expressway (Jinxin Expressway), numbered "National Expressway G55twelve”[1]。

On September 7, 2017, the former General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China (incorporated into the Ministry of Market Supervision and Administration) issued the Rules for Highway Route Identification and National Highway Number (GB/T 917-2017, replacing GB/T 917-2009), and the number of Jinxin Expressway remained unchanged[3]。
In June 2019, Henan Province carried out the optimization and improvement of naming and numbering of national and provincial expressway networks.The original G5512 Jinxin Expressway is adjusted to G3511 Hebao Expressway, and S86 Yuanjiao Expressway is adjusted to G5512 Jinxin Expressway.[4]

Jinjiao ExpresswayShanxi SectionShanxi is called Jinjiao Expressway.The starting point is the Dongshangzhuang Flyover at the intersection of Fengtai East Street and National Highway 207 in the urban area of Jincheng City, and the ending point is located at the provincial boundary of Shanxi and Henan in Hanjiazhai Village, Liushukou Township, Zezhou County, Jincheng City, with a total length of 32 kilometers. On May 27, 1998, the signing ceremony for the investment of Jin Jiao Expressway was held in Taiyuan, with a total investment of 1.44 billion yuan, including 576 million yuan from Shanxi Province and 864 million yuan from Hong Kong New World Infrastructure Co., Ltd., with a cooperation period of 30 years;
April 18, 1999Niulanghe Tunnel of Jinjiao ExpresswayThe left line was successfully completed, with a total length of 3955 meters. It is the longest tunnel in North China, ranking second in the country;
On December 17, 2000, the Danhe Super Large Stone Arch Bridge on Shanxi Jiaozuo Expressway had a single span of 146 meters, which won the Guinness World Record.On April 23, 2001, Meng Fanrong, Deputy Commander in Chief of Shanxi Jiaozuo Expressway Project and Leader of Danhe Bridge Research Group, won the National Labor Medal of "May Day", went to Beijing to attend the meeting to receive the award, and Shanxi Section was completed.On May 11, 2002, a delegation led by Huang Zhendong, Minister of Communications, visited Jincheng section of Jinjiao Expressway.
On December 22, 2002, this section was officially opened to traffic with Henan section.A total of 11.22 million cubic meters of earthwork, 133000 cubic meters of retaining wall, 586000 square meters of pavement, a 413m long super major bridge, 14 2692 linear meters of major bridges, 6 509 linear meters of minor bridges, 59 culverts, 2258m long tunnels, 20 single track tunnels, 20783 linear meters in total, 2 interchanges, 2 separated interchanges, 8 channels,footbridgeSix buildings are 222 meters long, and the total project investment is estimated to be 1.44 billion yuan.
2. Jinjiao ExpresswayHenan section,Henan is called Jiaozuo Jinzhou Expressway.The Jinyu Bridge, which starts at the end of Jinjiao Expressway at the junction of Henan and Shanxi, passes through four towns and townships, including Zhaihao, Longdong, Wangfeng and Zhucun in Jiaozuo Boai and Zhongzhan counties and districts, and ends at Xiaoshang Village in Jiaozuo City. It is connected with the proposed Jiaozuo Wenzhou Expressway, with a total length of 17.036 km, a relative height difference of 566 meters, and a two-way four lane road.The construction was officially started on June 26, 2000 and opened to traffic on December 22, 2002.
3. Jinjiao ExpresswayNorth Section of Jiaozhouwan Zhengzhou Expressway。Jiaozuo Zhengzhou Expressway starts from Jiaozuo Jinzhou Expressway and Jiaozhou Wenzhou Expressway overpass in Xiaoshang Village, Zhongzhan District, Jiaozuo City, and ends on 107 National Highway 600 meters north of Xinzhuang Village, Yuanyang County. It is 55.8 kilometers long, with a total investment of 1.216 billion yuan. The design standard is a fully closed, full interchange two-way four lane plain hilly expressway.The construction was commenced on August 18, 1998. The first phase of the project was completed and opened to traffic on July 23, 2001, and the second phase was completed and opened to traffic on December 22, 2002.The north section of Jiaozuo Zhengzhou Expressway starts from Xiaoshang Village, Zhongzhan District, Jiaozuo City to Ningguo Interchange, about 10 kilometers into Jinxin Expressway.

The old line of Jiaozuo Xinxiang section of Jinxin Expressway is constructed by Xinxiang Jiaozuo Expressway project.Xinxiang Jiaozuo Expressway is an important part of Jincheng Xinxiang Expressway planned by the state and Changyuan Jiyuan Expressway planned by Henan Province. It is one of the main economic arteries in Henan Province.The project starts from Jiyuan, which has been completed and opened to traffic in the southwest of Jiaozuo City, in the west to the end of Jiaozuo Expressway, and ends at G4 in the east（Beijing Hong Kong Macao Expressway）It is connected, with a total length of 79.838km, a total estimated investment of 3.16 billion yuan, two-way six lane, a design driving speed of 120km/h, and a subgrade width of 28m.There are 2 super major bridges, 4 major bridges, 4 medium bridges, 62 separated interchanges and 7 interchanges along the line.The construction is divided into two sections.The whole section was completed and opened to traffic on September 6, 2007.[10]In June 2019, this section of expressway was adjusted from G5512 (Jinxin Expressway) to G3511 (Hebao Expressway).[4]。
1. Jiaozuo Shanyang to Jiaozuo Xiuwu Section
This section of expressway connects the end point of the completed Jiyuan Jiaozuo Expressway (located in the southwest of Jiaozuo City) in the west, the junction of Jiaozuo City and Xinxiang City in the east, and the Huojia Xinxiang section of the Jincheng Xinxiang Expressway under construction. The route passes through Wuzhi and Xiuwu counties, with a total length of 29.48km.The road width is designed to be 28 meters, and it is arranged as a two-way six lane road. A pair of emergency parking bays are symmetrically arranged every kilometer, and the design driving speed is 120 km/h.
2. Huojia Xinxiang Hongqi Xinxiang Section
Xinxiang Jiaozuo Expressway Project will be constructed in this section of expressway.Xinxiang Jiaozuo Expressway is one of the "five vertical, four horizontal and four channels" in Henan Province's expressway network planningChangji ExpresswayIt is also an important part of the national planned Jin Xin Expressway, and an important channel connecting Da Guang, Er Guang, Zheng Jiao Jin, Beijing Hong Kong Macao Expressway.The route starts 2km northwest of Huangdi Town, Huojia County, Xinxiang City in the west, the junction of Xinxiang City and Jiaozuo City, and ends at Hongqi District, Xinxiang City in the eastBeijing Zhuhai ExpresswayThe overpass is 50.358 kilometers long, with six lanes in both directions, a design speed of 120 kilometers per hour, a subgrade width of 28 meters, and a total estimated investment of 2.57 billion yuan.There are 2 super major bridges, 3 major bridges, 42 separated overpasses and 4 interchanges along the line.[9]

1. Jiaozuo Middle Station to Xinxiang Yuanyang Xinzhuang Section
The Jiaozuo Zhengzhou Expressway Project will be constructed in this section of expressway.Jiaozuo Zhengzhou Expressway is the first expressway in Henan Province that is self funded, self built and self managed by the local government, approved by the National Planning Commission.This section starts from Xinji Highway 800 meters east of Xiaoshang Village, Zhongzhan District, Jiaozuo City in the west and ends 600 meters north of Xinzhuang Village, Zhulou Township, Yuanyang County, Xinxiang City in the eastNational Highway 107The total length is 55.8km, the total width of the subgrade is 26m, the total investment of the project is 1.216 billion yuan, and the design standard is a fully closed, fully overpass, two-way four lane expressway.This section of expressway was completed and opened to traffic on July 19, 2001.[6-7]In December 2009, the section from Xiaoshang Village, Jiaozuo Zhongzhan District, Jiaozuo City to Ningguo Hub, Shanyang District of Jiaozuo Zhengzhou Expressway was included in G5512 (Jinxin Expressway) for about 10 kilometers, and the rest of the section was included in S86 (Yuanyang Jiaozuo Expressway).[8]In June 2019, the original coke speed of S86 was adjusted to G5512 (Jinxin Expressway).[4]
The Yuanyang Xinzhuang Expressway Project will be constructed in this section of expressway.The project starts from Xinzhuang Jiaozuo Expressway of Xinxiang Jincheng Branch of Taiyuan Aomen National Key Trunk Highway in the west and ends at Yuanyang County of Xinxiang Zhengzhou Expressway of Beijing Zhuhai National Trunk Highway in the east. The total length of the project is 12.8km, and the design driving speed is 120km/h. The total investment of the project is 425.78 million yuan.The construction of this section of expressway started in August 2002 and lasted 28 months. It was completed and opened to traffic on December 16, 2004.[5]In December 2009, this section of expressway was included in S86 (Yuanyang Jiaozuo Expressway).[8]In June 2019, the original coke speed of S86 was adjusted to G5512 (Jinxin Expressway).[4]
