Figure 2 Xinchang Peanut Planting Base
Xinchang peanut (Xiaojingsheng) is mainly planted on the low platform of weathered basalt in Xinchang County, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province. The main soil is red clay and brown soil. The basalt platform rises due to the difference of neotectonic movement, forming basalt platforms with different elevations. The platform is not connected with the platform, and the platform is not connected with the low hills. The steep slope of the platform edge forms a special platform climate. When other conditions are suitable, sufficient sunshine and high temperature during the day can enhance photosynthesis, which is conducive to the formation and accumulation of organic matter in crops.Low night temperature can reduce the respiratory consumption of organic matter, which is conducive to improving the quality of peanuts.[2]
