1、 In the third year of Datong in the Western Wei Dynasty (537), Wen'an County was set up to govern Wen'an County (in today's Wen'anyi Town, Yanchuan County, Shaanxi Province). Wen'an County governs Wen'an County, Yixiang County and Guang'an County. Because of the Northern Zhou Dynasty. It was abolished in the third year of Kaihuang of Sui Dynasty (583).
2、 In the first year of Tang Tianbao (742), the organizational system of Mozhou was abolished and Wen'an County was established to govern Maozhou, Renqiu City, Hebei Province. In the first year of the Qianyuan era (758), Wen'an County was abolished and Mozhou was restored.
