Terminology
The survival rate and mortality rate are often relative. When the survival rate is 75%, the mortality rate is 100%-75%= 25%, when the survival rate is 25%, the mortality rate is 100%-25%= 75%。
The survival rate indicates that the number of survivors is several percent of the total.
