Huiyun, a monk of the Tang Dynasty (655~), is known as the founder of the temple. Huxiang people, whose common surname is Yao. At the age of ten, he had the ambition of going out of the world. He first studied scriptures from Huisi, the first ancestor of Nanyue. After receiving enough precepts, he abandoned the lecture department and specialized in blessing. He traveled through Jingying, Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces and advised people to leave Caixing Temple. There were more than 20 places around.
