Professor Barry Bohm obtained his bachelor's degree in mathematics from Harvard University in 1957, and then obtained his master's degree and doctor's degree in mathematics from UCLA in 1961 and 1964 respectively.In 2000, he received an honorary doctorate degree from the Department of Computer Science, University of Massachusetts.[2]
Dr. Barry Bohm died at his home in Los Angeles at 11:38 p.m. on August 20, 2022, at the age of 87.In the last days of Dr. Barry Bohm, his students, colleagues and friends rushed to his home. They were filled with heartache and reluctance, telling the story they had shared, thanking and saying goodbye to Dr. Barry Bohm.[1]
