According to Professor Liao Xiangzhong, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Communication University of China, the "National Heavy Building" has a total construction area of more than 23000 square meters, which is the largest comprehensive experimental building of the school.Since the Ministry of Science and Technology officially approved Communication University of China to build the "National Key Laboratory for Media Convergence and Communication" on November 6, 2019, the university has invested about 20 million yuan in modification and equipment purchase, and optimized the original comprehensive laboratory building into a special place for the National Key Laboratory, becoming a new landmark for scientific research of the university.
