Daqing Vocational College is located in Daqing, Heilongjiang Province. It is a full-time junior college level higher vocational school characterized by petroleum and petrochemical majors in Heilongjiang ProvinceNational Model Higher Vocational College。
The predecessor of the college can be traced back to the Songjiang Financial Cadre School established in 1953. After evolution and adjustment, the college was approved by the People's Government of Heilongjiang Province and filed by the Ministry of Education on March 8, 2001. Daqing Vocational College was established by Daqing Petroleum School, Daqing Staff University, Daqing People's Police School, and Daqing Art School.In 2011, it was selected as a national model higher vocational college.With the deepening reform of Daqing Oilfield, Daqing Vocational College, Iron Man College, Daqing Technician College, PetroChina Daqing Training Center, and Daqing Oilfield Party School will be reorganized and integrated in 2020 to form an integrated operation and management mode.

Consolidated development
In 2001, with the approval of the People's Government of Heilongjiang Province and the record of the Ministry of Education, Daqing Vocational College was officially established. Daqing Petroleum School, Daqing Workers' University, Daqing Police School and Daqing Art School jointly recruited vocational students in the name of Daqing Vocational College, but there was no substantive integration.
In 2005, Daqing Petroleum School was substantially integrated with Daqing Technical School and Daqing Workers' University.[4]
In 2007, it passed the evaluation of the Ministry of Education on talent cultivation in higher vocational colleges and was rated as excellent.
In 2008, it became the third batch of construction units of the national demonstrative higher vocational college construction plan project.
In 2011, it passed the construction acceptance of national model colleges and became a national model higher vocational college.
In 2012, it passed the evaluation of talent cultivation in higher vocational colleges by the Ministry of Education.[3]
