Etoria and Akania (Greek: ατω λ _0ακαρνανανα) is a state in the western Greek region of Greece, bordering the Ambrakia Bay in the north, the Peloponnesian Peninsula across the Patley Bay in the south, and the Ionian Islands in the west. With an area of 5460.888 square kilometers, it is the largest state in Greece. In 2005, the population was 223188. The capital, Mysorongion. It is divided into 29 cities.
