The transaction lasted for 8 years
According to the agreement signed by the two sides, Gome did not directly acquire large and medium-sized enterprises at that time, but a tortuous step-by-step plan.Gome is represented by its subsidiary Tianjin Gome Business Consulting Management Co., Ltd. (referred to as Tianjin Consulting), which provides an investment holding company Beijing Zhansheng with a loan of 3.6 billion yuan through a bank, and Beijing Zhansheng uses the loan to purchase all the registered capital of large and medium-sized appliances.

As for why this approach was adopted, Gome explained that the other party hoped to complete the acquisition as soon as possible, but the equity acquisition required the approval of the relevant departments, which was difficult to complete in a short time. Liu Buchen, a senior figure in the household appliance industry, believes that Gome Group's household appliance retail business is actually divided into three parts, namely, listed companies, unlisted stores, and large and medium-sized appliances.
