The river channel of Yanguan is smooth and straight, and the tidal bore moves westward without any obstruction. In order to reclaim land and protect the seawall, the river channel of the old Yancang has a 660 meter long spur dike. When the roaring tide encounters an obstacle, it will be reflected back, where it hits the opposite dike violently, and then rolls back with the momentum of Mount Tai,It falls on the westward torrent, forms a row of "snow mountains", runs back to the east at a high speed, sounds like a lion roaring, and shakes the earth.
