Normal mature in human bodywhite blood cellIt can be divided into five categories:Neutrophils, eosinophilsBasophil、lymphocyteandmonocyte。Eosinophils are part of white blood cells, and like other granulocytes, they are derived from hematopoietic stem cells of bone marrow.Eosinophils have the function of killing bacteria and parasitesimmune reactionandAnaphylactic reactionCells that are extremely important in the process.Eosinophils can release the contents of particles, cause tissue damage, and promote the progress of inflammation. The number of eosinophils in blood fluctuated periodically day and night. The number of cells decreased in the morning and increased at midnight. The periodic change of the cell number is related to the diurnal fluctuation of the amount of glucocorticoid released by the adrenal cortex. When the concentration of corticosteroids in the blood increased, the number of eosinophils decreased; When the concentration of corticosteroids decreased, the number of eosinophils increased.

Eosinophils are a type of white blood cells.Leukocytes can be divided into granular and non granular according to morphological differences.Granular leukocytes (granulocytes) contain special staining particles. Three types of granular leukocytes, namely neutrophils, eosinophils and basophils, can be distinguished by staining with Reich dye;Granular leukocytes include monocytes and lymphocytes.Eosinophils have large eosinophilic granules containing peroxidase and acid phosphatase[1]。

Cell diameter 10-15 μ m[3]The nucleus is lobulated, or S-shaped or irregular, with light coloring. There are eosinophilic particles in the cytoplasm. The size of cells is different, and the distribution is uneven. They are dyed orange red, and the nucleus cannot be covered.[2]
Eosinophils can migrate to sites where pathogens or allergic reactions occur. The cell can swallow antigen antibody complex, release a variety of lysosomal enzymes with bactericidal effect, and cationic protein has a strong killing effect on parasites. At the site of allergic reaction, the histamine enzyme released by it can decompose histamine, and the aryl sulfate ester can inactivate leukotriene, thereby inhibiting allergic reaction.
