Wu Xingguo has played both positive and negative characters, but each of them is full of personality, especially his "cold face" style. In his maiden work "Inducing Monks", although Wu Xingguo was on the screen for the first time, he was no inferior to Chen Chong in playing opposite roles; Then the New One armed Knife, which he starred in, expanded the space for the development of martial arts films with its unique artistic style; And "God of Gamblers 2" and "New Shanghai Beach" earned him the title of "villain master";But the most unforgettable thing for the audience is his performance of "Chiang Kai shek" in the Song Dynasty.(Daily New Review)[13]
Wu Xingguo Reminds People of British ActorsLawrence Oliver。(The Times Review)[22]The works are profound and powerful, with rich performance levels and superb skills.(Review of Yomiuri Shimbun)[22]Both the silly Xu Xian in the movie Green Snake and the powerful Jiang Jieshi in the Song Dynasty have pushed these two characters to an artistic peak while full of personal expression tension.(Sina Entertainment Review)[7]
