He is currently the Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Chairman of the Zhejiang Disabled Persons' Federation.[1-2][5]
After retiring in 1997, Lv Lin was appointed by the Table Tennis Association to work as a coach in a Japanese club
In 1998, he returned to China to coach the Chinese men's table tennis team, and later served as the head coach of the National Women's Table Tennis Team II. Li Xiaoxia, Guo Yue, Ding Ning, Liu Shiwen and other famous Chinese women table tennis players were all Lv Lin's disciples.
In 2006, Zhejiang Sports Vocational and Technical College was established, and Lv Lin decided to return to his hometown to work. He successively served as the director of the third department of competitive sports of Zhejiang Sports Vocational and Technical College, member of the college's Party committee, vice president, etc.
