Nanyang School of Traditional Chinese Medicine was founded in June 1978, originally located in Yunyang Town, Nanzhao County, and named as Henan Yunyang School of Traditional Chinese Medicine.In August 1992, Nanyang was relocated and merged with the former Zhang Zhongjing National Medical University, renamed as Nanyang School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, running schools at two levels: junior college and technical secondary school.In August 2000, the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine named it as a key school of traditional Chinese medicine.In May 2006, Nanyang Municipal Government decided to entrustNanyang Medical College Escrow.In June 2022, Nanyang Municipal People's Government decided to move the school to Yahe Work Area and implement independent enrollment.
