Nanning Mass Art Museum, formerly Nanning Culture Museum, was founded in 1950 and renamed Nanning Mass Art Museum in July 1984.Nanning Mass Art Museum is a comprehensive mass cultural institution established by the state.The pavilion covers an area of 10400 square meters, with a total construction area of 6100 square meters, including 3960 square meters of activity venues.In the museum, there are activity department, art department, research department, art department and office.At present, there are 59 staff members, 53 in the staff, 50 with college education or above, 6 with senior professional titles, 23 with intermediate professional titles, and 20 with junior professional titles.Its main function is to organize and guide mass cultural and artistic activities;Guide the business work of cultural centers and stations and train their business cadres;Training amateur literary and artistic backbones;Studying mass culture and art;Collect and sort out national and folk cultural heritage;Editing and publishing mass culture and art journals;Carry out theoretical research and academic discussion activities of mass cultural and artistic activities.

In the past decade, the art, calligraphy, photographydance, Drama, ThesissongAnd other literary and artistic works won 130 district level awards and 20 national level awards.Over the years, the Mass Art Museum has played a positive role in the construction of Nanning's two civilizations. It has been rated as an advanced unit in cultural work by Nanning City and the autonomous region for many times. In June 2004 and March 2008, it was awarded the title of national first-class mass art museum by the Ministry of Culture.
In November 2021, it was included in the list of first level cultural centers to be named in the fifth national cultural center evaluation and rating by the Public Service Department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and publicized.[1]
