The State Key Laboratory of Molecular Dynamics and Steady State Structure is located in the formerDepartment of Chemistry, Peking UniversityOn the basis of the Open Laboratory of Structural Chemistry and the Dynamic Structural Laboratory of the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, it was formally established in March 1987 with the approval of the State Development Planning Commission through expert argumentation.The laboratory passed the national acceptance in 1991 and was officially opened to the public. It is one of the first batch of national key laboratories jointly established by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and universities.
