The county public security bureau is a constituent department of the county government in charge of the public security work of the whole county. Its main responsibilities are:
（1） Implement national laws, regulations and public security work guidelines and policies;To formulate regulations and implementation measures for public security work throughout the county;To organize, lead and direct the public security organs of the whole county;To deploy, guide, supervise and inspect the public security work of the whole county.
（2） Grasp the situation that affects social stability, endangers domestic security and public security, analyze the situation, and formulate countermeasures.
（3） To organize, implement and guide the investigation work of the public security organs of the whole county, and organize and coordinate the handling of major cases, public security incidents, public security accidents, major mass incidents and riots.
（4） To organize, implement and guide the public security organs of the whole county to investigate and deal with violations of public security administration according to law, and carry out public security administration according to law;To guide and supervise the public security work of the county public security organs.
（5） To organize and guide the administration of entry and exit, residence and travel of foreigners in the county, and foreign affairs of public security in the county.
（6） To organize, implement and guide the public security organs of the whole county to maintain road traffic safety, traffic order and the management of motor vehicles and drivers.
（7） Organize the implementation, guide and supervise the security protection of the public information network in the county, and be responsible for the supervision, inspection and guidance of the information security level protection.（8） To guide and supervise the execution of criminal punishments undertaken by the public security organs of the whole county according to law, organize the implementation, guide and supervise the management of detention centers, detention centers and compulsory isolation drug rehabilitation centers of the whole county, and plan and guide the construction of prison stations of the whole county.
（9） To organize, implement and guide the legal construction of public security in the whole county;To guide, inspect and supervise the law enforcement activities of the county public security organs.
（10） To organize, implement and guide the county public security organs in drug control and anti drug work, and undertake the daily work of the county drug control committee office.
（11） Organize, guide and coordinate the prevention, reconnaissance and disposal of terrorist activities throughout the county, and undertake the daily work of the county anti-terrorism work coordination group office.
（12） Organize and implement the scientific and technological work of public security in the whole county, and plan the construction of public security command system, information technology, criminal technology and technical reconnaissance.
（13） To formulate and organize the implementation of the standards and systems for the allocation of public security bedding, equipment and funds in the county.
（14） To guide the county's public security and political work and team building;To organize, implement, guide and manage the publicity, education and training of public security in the whole county.
（15） Formulate the rules and regulations for the supervision and management of the public security team in the county, and analyze the status of the team;To organize, implement and guide the supervision work of the public security organs of the whole county, supervise the cadres according to the prescribed authority, investigate and deal with or supervise major and major disciplinary violations of the public security team;To guide the construction of the ideological style and work style of the county's public security forces.
（16） To undertake other tasks assigned by the county party committee, county government, municipal public security bureau and provincial public security department.[4]
