The targets selected for this project are Magellanic Clouds And the galactic nucleus ball in the Milky Way, because there are many stars in the middle, it can be used as a gravity lens when the star obscures the target. Many observations were made at the Las Campanas Observatory in Chile, and Princeton University And Carnegie College.
The plan is divided into three stages, including OGLE-I, OGLE-II and OGLE-III.
