China Youth University of Political Studies is located in Beijing Haidian District was established on the basis of the Central League School in September 1985, with two brands and one set of institutions. The Central Youth League School (China Youth Political College) is located at No. 25, West Third Ring Road North, Haidian District, Beijing, next to West Third Ring Road. [15] The school has three types of secondary institutions, including education and training, teaching and research, and party and government services. The school is one of the first national research and training bases of the Youth League Central Committee's "Youth Marxist Training Project", the co construction unit of the Central Compilation and Translation Bureau's "Youth Political Talent Training Research Base", and the first training bases of social work professionals of the Ministry of Civil Affairs. History of school running

In December 1932, the Central Bureau of the Soviet Area of the Communist Party of China (CPC) established Lenin Youth League School in Yangxi Village, Ruijin County.
In 1936, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League Baoan County Liujiaping Village founded the Central League School, which was later renamed Lu Xun Youth school.
In October 1937, the Northwest Youth Salvation Federation led by the Party established a wartime youth training class in the Kuomintang ruled area, collectively known as Anwu Youth Training Class.
In May 1940, the Party Central Committee founded the "Zedong Youth Cadre School" in Yan'an on the basis of the Anwu Youth Training Class.
In September 1948, the Central Youth League School was located in Hebei Province, where the Party Central Committee was then located Pingshan County establish.
On July 4, 1949, the first graduation ceremony of the Central Youth League School students was held in Zhongnanhai Huairen Hall Held, Mao Zedong He made a speech.
In 1949, the students of the Central Youth League School took part in the takeover of Pingjin, the founding ceremony and other major events. In November of the same year, the school officially moved to Beijing.
In 1954, it moved to the current site, and the teaching, working and living conditions were greatly improved.
In July 1978, according to the instructions of the Party Central Committee, the Central Youth League School officially resumed.
In February 1979, the school carried out a discussion on the standard of truth among students and teachers, re educated young cadres with the ideological line of seeking truth from facts, and provided valuable experience for the study and discussion of the whole regiment.
In 1983, the school explored formal academic education and held three two-year junior college classes for in-service league cadres.
In September 1985, with the approval of the State Education Commission, the China Youth Political College was established on the basis of the Central Youth League School, and the name of the Central Youth League School was retained. The school has two brands and one set of institutions, which undertake the dual functions of general higher education and the education and training of League cadres.   
In 1990, the university obtained the right to award bachelor's degree, delivered the first batch of undergraduate graduates to the society, and began to recruit second bachelor's degree students.
In 1997, after passing the comprehensive inspection of the expert group of the State Education Commission and being awarded the title of "qualified college", the school implemented the teaching work rectification plan of "one pilot and three projects".
In 2000, a teaching reform focusing on the comprehensive credit system was implemented.
In 2003, he was granted the right to confer a master's degree.
In 2006, he received the undergraduate teaching level assessment from the Ministry of Education and was awarded "Excellent".
In 2012, the Ministry of Education and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League jointly built schools.
In May 2017, the undergraduate education and some graduate education of China Youth College of Political Science were successfully transferred to the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and the University of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences was established to realize the transfer of high-quality educational resources.   
On November 20, 2017, General Secretary Xi Jinping presided over the first meeting of the 19th Central Leading Group for Comprehensively Deepening Reform, which deliberated and passed the Central League School Reform Plan.
In March 2018, the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council officially issued the Central League School Reform Plan, marking that the school reform has entered the comprehensive implementation stage. [4]
In September 2018, the first school opening ceremony after the reform of the Central Youth League School was held in the central organ of the Youth League, marking that the Central Youth League School officially embarked on a new journey to build a political school with distinctive characteristics of the Party in the field of youth work.
In December 2020, the 11th Congress of the Communist Party of China Central Youth League School (China Youth Political College) was successfully held. The reform of the Central Youth League School has achieved phased results and has been further advanced.
