The financial market operation in November 2020 announced by the People's Bank of China shows that China's bond market issued 4.7 trillion yuan of various bonds in November. Among them, 706.99 billion yuan was issued by government bonds, 138.36 billion yuan was issued by local government bonds, 732.65 billion yuan was issued by financial bonds, 1 trillion yuan was issued by corporate credit bonds, 261.23 billion yuan was issued by asset-backed securities, and 1.8 trillion yuan was issued by interbank deposit receipts.
By the end of November, the bond market custody balance was 115.7 trillion yuan. Among them, the balance of government bonds custody was 19.5 trillion yuan, the balance of local government bonds custody was 25.4 trillion yuan, the balance of financial bonds custody was 27.5 trillion yuan, the balance of corporate credit bonds custody was 25.7 trillion yuan, the balance of asset-backed securities custody was 4.3 trillion yuan, and the balance of inter-bank deposit receipts custody was 11 trillion yuan.
In addition, in November, inter-bank money market transactions totaled 83.1 trillion yuan, up 0.15% year on year and 26.58% month on month. The spot bonds in the inter-bank bond market traded 14.2 trillion yuan, with a daily average of 675.19 billion yuan, down 33.66% year on year and up 8.86% month on month. The spot bonds in the bond market of the Exchange traded 2.1 trillion yuan, with a daily average of 100.9 billion yuan, up 196.78% year on year and down 24.37% month on month. [2]
