In 1909, foreign nurses in China were prepared to be established in Guling, Jiangxi Province. In 1914, the first National Nurses Conference was held in Shanghai, where the name of "nurse" was determined and nursing school registration was handled. In July 1936, the central government approved the issuance of the organization license, and in August of the same year, the Ministry of Education put it on record. In May 1946, with the "demobilization" of government agencies, the club was set up at No. 11, Shuanglong Lane, Nanjing, and 12 branches were set up in various provinces and cities, with more than 13000 members.
