On February 6, 2023, Northeast Securities announced that the company received the Notification of Filing from the CSRC.The CSRC decided to file a case against the Company in accordance with the Securities Law of the People's Republic of China, the Administrative Penalty Law of the People's Republic of China and other laws and regulations, because the Company was suspected of failing to be diligent and responsible in carrying out the non-public offering of shares of Yu Diamond in 2016, and the documents issued by the Company contained false records, misleading statements or major omissions.[4]
On November 20, 2023, Northeast Securities issued a progress announcement on litigation matters.According to the judgment of Changchun Intermediate People's Court, Northeast Securities should compensate the plaintiff Jilin Dunhua Rural Commercial Bank 294 million yuan and interest.Northeast Securities said that the judgment of this lawsuit was a first instance judgment that has not yet taken effect, and the subsequent company will file an appeal.[5]
