The laboratory implements the director responsibility system, with Professor Zeng Xuan as the director and Professor Yan Xiaolang as the director of the Academic Committee. There are 51 fixed personnel in the laboratory. Among them, there are 18 professors, 1 researcher and 1 winner of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. The laboratory takes strong measures to attract outstanding talents at home and abroad. More than 10 research talents with international background were introduced full-time, and conditions were created to accelerate the training of local discipline leaders and young backbone. It plays an important role in establishing a research team for the laboratory and conducting major research. The young and middle-aged backbone professors of the laboratory have won a number of grants from the Ministry of Education and the Shanghai Municipal Talents Program. Many of them have served as members of the expert group of the National Major Project, the 863 Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Shanghai Municipal Government. Many of them have won honorary titles such as the Ministry of Education's New (Cross) Century Excellent Talents, Shanghai's Top Ten Young IT Science and Technology Pioneers, and Shanghai's Outstanding Young Teachers. The laboratory now covers an area of 12000 square meters, and the total value of existing equipment is 160 million yuan. The laboratory platform serves the scientific research of the laboratory in the principle of "centralization, sharing, upgrading and openness". The laboratory actively carried out multi-channel academic exchanges: (1) hosted several important international conferences, such as ASP-DAC, ASICON, ICSICT, ISIF, etc. Among them, ASP-DAC and ISIF are the first international conferences held in China through international bidding. (2) Establish joint laboratories with industry, such as Intel, Xilinx, Novellus, Agilent, ADI, ARM, etc. Among them, Novellus donated copper interconnection equipment worth 12 million dollars. (3) Carry out cooperative research with international academic circles.
