In the afternoon of April 30, the "Go Your Own Way - Li Xiaogang Tampere Exhibition" hosted by Bridge Art Space opened in 798 Bridge Art Space. This exhibition is curated by Li Chunyang, a researcher from the Fine Arts Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Arts, and supported by Li Keran Painting Academy. The exhibition presents Li Xiaogang's 28 Tampere paintings focusing on realistic characters, including his latest creation in 2024.

Li Chunyang believes that Li Xiaogang is one of the pioneers of Tampere's development in China. "In the contemporary context, modernists and contemporary art no longer regard imitating nature as the ultimate goal of art. Today, we return to Tampere not only to learn realism, but also to explore more expressiveness and experimentation of the media itself. Li Xiaogang's new works show his understanding of abstract composition and are exploring a new path: the combination of western modeling thinking and eastern image thinking, and the rich and subtle nature of Tampere's original materials make us realize that the oldest things can also become the most avant-garde things. "

Li Xiaogang comprehensively explored and studied the roots of European Tampere painting skills.
