In general, only when the store version of WeChat is installed on a non-C disk, can the received files not be opened. This article only discusses this situation.
Suggestion: Don't bother. Even if it is solved in this way, sometimes files cannot be opened directly and need to be copied. This seems to be because the files of the Win10 Store version APP are separate file areas and encrypted (I don't know whether it is correct or not)
Another problem is that the received video cannot be played, so it must be saved as a copy and played again
The bug persuaded me to use the exe version again.
Although WeChat in the Win10 store is actually packaged and transposed in the exe version of WeChat, it is still relatively clean. In short, for one reason or another, some people (such as me) still choose to use the Win10 store version of WeChat, which is discovered in the process of use. Files received by WeChat in the Win10 store version cannot be saved in the location, It can only be saved in the drive letter installed by default. As a result, the C disk becomes larger and larger, and WeChat directly occupies 10G+space. So he moved it to disk D, but the move failed. Simply uninstall directly, set the new application installation location D disk, and then reinstall WeChat in the store.
After reinstalling to disk D, it was really comfortable. WeChat finally took up the space of my disk C, and then encountered the problem mentioned in the title: "I can't open the received file".
According to the information prompted, open the corresponding directory layer by layer. After opening to the "Tencent" folder, we found that there was no "WeChatAppStore" folder under the folder, so either there was a problem with the file path called by WeChat or the files downloaded by WeChat were not saved at all. After downloading the file to check the change of the hard disk occupation, we confirmed that WeChat actually downloaded the file, but we still don't know where to save it.
Since I have known some mechanisms of the win10 store app before, I entered the "WpSystem" folder on disk D to view it. There is a folder with a very long file name in this directory. The file name seems to be different from that of each computer, so I will not discuss it here (in fact, I don't understand it. Could you tell me what Dalao knows, emmmm)
Open the open folder layer by layer until you enter the "Packages" folder.
Enter the "TencentWeChatLimited. forWindows10_xxxxxx" folder, and this is the location of various WeChat files in the store version.
After checking the folder, we found that the actual location of the files downloaded from WeChat chat is in the folder "xxxx LocalCache Roaming Tencent WeChatAppStore WeChatAppStore Files * * * (WeChat ID) Files ".
Now we have found the actual location of the downloaded file. It is obviously a problem with the WeChat store version of the program. When it was opened, it was opened from the C disk. Maybe some paths in the program were written dead (Read to me: junk WeChat) 。 Although the file location is found, you can't go back here to open every time you receive a file. That's too troublesome.
After comparing the prompt that no file can be found with the actual path, it is found that the file path after the "WeChatAppStore" is the same, so we can perform some operations.
Using the Windows soft connection, create a "WeChatAppStore" folder under the "Tencent" folder on disk C, and connect to the actual "WeChatAppStore" folder on disk D, so that the files are actually stored in the "WeChatAppStore" on disk D, but can be accessed through the file path of disk C. Even if the location of WeChat to open the file is wrong, the actual file can be opened through this path.
It may be a little circuitous, so go to the command directly. The use of Windows soft links is also very simple.
#Create Soft Links Mklink/d softlink directory actual file directory #Delete Soft Link Rmdir soft link directory
- Here are some points to pay attention to
1. It can only be executed under the administrator permission cmd, otherwise it has no permission.
2. If there are spaces in the path, they should be enclosed in English double quotation marks.
3. Do not use the "del" command when deleting soft links. Using the "del" command to delete will delete the actual files at the same time.
Taking WeChat as an example, the command is as follows (the file path is too long and omitted, copy and paste according to the actual path):
Mklink/d "C: Users * * * (user name) AppData Roaming Tenant WeChatAppStore" "D: WpSystem S-1-5-21 - * * * * * (everyone is different here) .... (omitted in the middle).... LocalCache Roaming Tenant WeChatAppStore "
After the prompt is successful, you can normally open and receive the file directly in the chat window.
Finally, read with me: junk WeChat
