The notice requires us to adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, fully implement the spirit of the Twentieth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, fully, accurately and comprehensively implement the new development concept, take the overall promotion of IPv6 technology innovation and integrated application as the main line, strive to break the bottleneck, improve the technology industry ecology, and create a self driven development trend of innovation leading and efficient coordination, Provide strong support for building a network power and a digital China.
The Work Arrangement defines the work objectives for 2024: by the end of 2024, the number of active IPv6 users will reach 800 million, the number of IPv6 connections to the Internet of Things will reach 650 million, the proportion of IPv6 traffic in fixed networks will reach 23%, and the proportion of IPv6 traffic in mobile networks will reach 65%. IPv6 network performance has been significantly improved, and the use experience has been significantly improved. The IPv6 function is enabled by default for cloud services, content distribution networks, and data centers when services are opened. IPv6 support rate of major commercial websites and mobile Internet applications reached 95%, and IPv6 industry convergence applications were more in-depth and extensive. The penetration level of fixed network IPv6 has jumped significantly. The new factory home routers, set-top boxes and other terminal equipment have enabled IPv6 by default. The IPv6 opening rate of existing home routers has significantly improved, and the IPv6 opening rate of enterprise institutions' Internet dedicated lines has significantly increased. IPv6 single stack support continues to increase. The application field of "IPv6+" innovative technology was further expanded. The IPv6 standard system has been continuously improved, and 50 national IPv6 standards have been established.
The Organization of Work has deployed ten key tasks.
First, enhance IPv6 network performance and quality of service. It includes strengthening the optimization of IPv6 network, optimizing the opening process of IPv6 business, continuously improving the level of IPv6 connectivity, and continuously promoting the IPv6 transformation of radio and television networks.
The second is to improve the IPv6 deployment level of application facilities. It includes strengthening the promotion and application of cloud product IPv6, increasing the proportion of IPv6 traffic in the content distribution network, strengthening the upgrading and transformation of IPv6 carrying business in the data center, and promoting the synchronous deployment of IPv6 in computing infrastructure.
Third, improve the IPv6 connectivity level of terminal equipment. It includes improving the use level of IPv6 in home routers, expanding the support range of IPv6 in home intelligent terminals, and accelerating the application of IPv6 in the Internet of Things.
The fourth is to strengthen the leading and demonstration leading. It includes carrying out IPv6 special action in key cities, strengthening the role of pilot demonstration, promoting the party and government office network to take the lead in launching IPv6, and strengthening the role of promoting IPv6 scale deployment and application expert committee platform.
Fifth, promote the evolution of IPv6 single stack deployment. It includes enhancing IPv6 single stack operation capability and expanding the range of IPv6 single stack pilot deployment.
Sixth, deepen industry integration and application. Including deepening the IPv6 transformation of the central enterprise industry system, improving the innovative application level of IPv6 in financial institutions, promoting the upgrading and transformation of IPv6 in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs system, deepening the deployment and application of IPv6 in the education industry, promoting the deployment and application of IPv6 in the human resources and social security departments at all levels, promoting the deployment and application of IPv6 in the civil affairs information system, strengthening the upgrading and transformation of IPv6 in medical and health institutions, and promoting the application of IPv6 in digital transportation facilities Expand the application of industrial Internet IPv6, deepen the deployment and application of IPv6 in the water conservancy industry, strengthen the transformation of natural resources and ecological environment informatization IPv6, and promote the emergency management business system and terminal to support IPv6.
Seventh, expand the scale of IPv6 content sources. Including deepening the upgrading and transformation of government network and application service IPv6, and expanding the scope of business application IPv6 support.
Eighth, promote the construction of innovation ecology and standard system. It includes strengthening the ecological construction of "IPv6+" innovative industries, strengthening the innovative research of Internet architecture, continuously promoting the formulation and implementation of IPv6 national standards, and actively participating in the formulation of international standards for IPv6 technology.
Ninth, strengthen network security. It includes accelerating the development and application of IPv6 security technology products, strengthening IPv6 network security protection and management supervision.
Ten is to strengthen publicity and promotion. It includes innovating the form and content of publicity and enriching industry exchange activities.
