I have shifted 4-5 times in my life and this was the worst ever experience of mine choosing APML for shifting. Others had been still much better.
Here is my narrative:
I chose APML to shift from Gurgaon to Noida in March'24. Their representative came to our house and took note of all the belongings and gave us a quotation which was a digital quote. Was literally impressed by that time and was confident that everything will go really well with them, keeping my trust.
My Nightmare starts from here:
Packing:
On the day of packing, their packers(5 of them) came at 8:30 am and started packing all the stuff. Their packing material was very basic, staff was courteous but packing was sub standard. They stuffed everything in cartons without even putting tape on leakable items like Oils, Masalas etc. which obviously had to leak during transport. No proper marking on the cartons of the content in the boxes(Everything for them was Miscellaneous items), room markings were incorrect, event after instructions. They left at 6 pm with the lock and keys in my hand. Not too bad experience until then.
Delivery & Unpacking:
Next Day was the delivery commitment in Noida. The truck driver called at 7 am that he was outside the society. I was happy and reached the place at 9 am for the delivery. But no one from unpacking team reached out to me. Waited till 10 am and no calls yet with truck outside the apartment. By then I started getting restless and started making calls to their delivery call center. They asked me to call another 5 numbers which never got picked.
After calling 100 times, I finally called their corporate office and took number of Mr. Ramesh Agarwal's Secretary but she was not able to help as well. by 5 pm I was completely exhausted and decided to hire external labours and pay extra money to unload(in parallel pacifying the Truck guy). and All of a sudden 4 people came from Agarwal Packers and Movers finally.
Post Unpacking:
They started unloading and did it until 11 pm. Post which they left with few things still uninstalled and since their truck couldn't come at night, they left every cartons and unpacked material in the apartment. It created hell of chaos in the apartment and after 3 days of followup to pick up their stuff, they finally came until which they apartment folks thew their stuff.
That's been a terrifying experience for me and my family. Never ever book through APML(Logo of person with a cap).
